“X” in 2007 was her last album but now she is back. Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is returning to the music scene in June with new single “All the Lovers,” the first track from her new album “Aphrodite.”
The album will be her 11th studio album. The single “All the lovers” acording to her “was one of the last tracks to be written for the album. As I was recording it I knew that ‘All the Lovers’ had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly,”
The list of songwriters for the album includes Minogue, Price, Calvin Harris, Jake Shears, Nerina Pallot and Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley.
Minogue, originally from Australia but living permanently in Britan has sold more than 60 million records. The american market is still new for her, she toured there for the first time in 2009.
The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 but she returned to performing after recovering from surgery and chemotherapy.
The singer unveiled the sneak preview of All The Lovers, which will be released on June 28. The album will hit stores on July 5.
