This is an exhibition that features 25 rooms and over 30.000 square feet of music and mementos.
The organizers are trying to turn the exhibition in a place where all the fans of the group can go to get closer to the group. Following the big international success of the Broadway show and the movie “Mamma Mia!”, the group is still in the headlines and gaining new fans.
Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Björn Ulvaeus, members of the group made an especial appearance in the opening of Abbaworld, and received a a plaque commemorating 375 million record sales worldwide.
Anni-Frid that explain that at a moment she regret being part of the band because of the band’s worldwide popularity. She also talk about the exhibition “I’m so proud of the team that has worked here and also to be part of what is happening here tonight,” she said. “We have been on a journey again, in a way.”
The exhibition, produced by Stockholm-based Touring Exhibitions, will remain at London’s until Mar. 28, after that the show will tour internationally and Australia and New York will be seeing the exhibit.
