The mystery surrounding Prince’s Super Bowl concert cancelation

Prince was invited to perform at one of the Super Bowl bashes that took place on Friday in Dallas. The event was organized by George Michael’s The Goss-Michael Foundation.

The performance never came to fruition and we’re still not sure about what happened. Some of the sources said that the artist not even made it to Dallas, while some other said that he did arrive to the city.

The only thing that we know for sure is that the concert never happened.

Someone at Price’s entourage, who didn’t want to reveal his name as he was not officially authorized to talk, did open up to The Associated Press giving his version of the story: “Prince is extremely disappointed that the organizers, the Meridian Entertainment Group and the River Alexander Group … were unable bring him and his band to Dallas,” the source said. “They say that apparently they lost their investors and were unable to adequately fund the event. Prince was looking forward to performing in support of the Goss-Michael Foundation.”

We’re truly sorry about all the disappointed fans that kept waiting for the concert to happen!
