Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street to be taken to the big screen

This is great news for the Rolling Stones’ fanatics belonging to the youngest generations.

Some footage from Exile on Main Street tour from 1972 has been remastered and will be hitting movie theaters very soon.

The movie, to be called Ladies and Gentleman: The Rolling Stones, will include footage of four of the shows part of the 1972 tour in Fort Worth and Houston. Some of their hits featured are ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’, ‘Tumbling Dice’ and ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’.

An interview with front man Mick JAgger will also be included. Jagger is particulary excited about this: “It’s a full-on performance and energy levels are really high… everyone’s very together.”

The original version of the documental was previously released in 1974.

The movie will be released in UK theaters from September 16 to 29.

The launching on DVD and Blu – Ray will take place in November 2010.
