People are still trying to capitalize from Paul Walker’s death.
TMZ reports that pieces of burned tree bark, allegedly stole from the scene of Paul and Roger Rodas‘ fatal car crash, were put up for sale on eBay!
And get this: auction started at $100 a piece!
But when the seller started getting hate messages (a lot of them, I imagine) for trying to capitalize on the tragedy, he had a change of heart and took down the auction.
Now he regrets the wrong-doing and reportedly told TMZ: “I would like to apologize to the family, friends, and fans of Paul Walker. At the time I listed the bark for sale, I did not realize the emotional impact it would have.”
In related-news, last week a teenager was arrested after stealing Porsche wreckage from the scene of the accident.
And let’s not forget about the fake Meadow Walker Facebook page.
