Marvin Sapp’s gospel gets number two

Lady Antebellum just climb up after losing Number One to Ludacris. Need You Now regain the Billboard 200 top stop that has controlled almost entirely the last two months.

Ludacris’ “Battle of the Sexes” fell to number three behind the surprise of the week. Marvin Sapp’s “Here I Am” got the number two position in his debut. According to Billboard, that’s higher than any gospel artist has reached in its half-century history. The last gospel album in the Top 10 was Mary Mary’s “The Sound” two years ago that reached No. 7.

The double disc compilation The Edge compilation got Number Four outselling Lady Gaga’s The Fame how is climbing down to the number five position.

Besides Marvin Sapp theres one more new release in the Top 20: The White Stripes’ album “Under Great White Northern Lights”

But in general was a bad week for many, Ludacris’ new disc suffer a 55 percent hit from its debut week sales while Gorillaz also saw a drop of 66 percent of Plastic Beach falling from Number Two to Nine.
For next week we are ready to receive Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 that will have brig numbers and a big chance for the the Number One spot.
