Showrunner Jess Brownell, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, explained the delay: “We’re working on faster releases, but filming takes eight months, followed by editing and dubbing in multiple languages. The writing itself is a lengthy process too, keeping us on a two-year cycle. We’re trying to speed things up, but it’s within that range.”
Quality Over Speed
However, Brownell assures fans that the wait will be worth it. She describes Bridgeton Season 4 as “some of her best work,” but playfully keeps the focus of the upcoming season under wraps: “I’ve almost revealed the next Bridgerton sibling in the lead role a few times. Keep asking, maybe I’ll slip up!”
A Season Filled with Passion
While details of Bridgeton Season 4 remain a mystery, fans can indulge in the steamy romance and dramatic plotlines of Season 3 Part 2. Creator Shonda Rhimes even confessed to being moved to tears by the season’s finale.

Martins Imhangbe, who portrays Will Mondrich in the series, offered viewers exclusive insight to Digital Spy: “Fans will be incredibly satisfied with how Season 3 concludes. It’s fantastic drama, truly lovely.”

Seasons 1-2 of Bridgerton, along with the first part of Season 3 and the prequel series “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,” are all available for streaming on Netflix.
