Eminem arrives to No.1 on Billboard chart

Eminem arrived to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 directly to number one with his new single ‘Not Afraid’, giving the rapper his third US number one.

The song’s first week downloads totalled 380,000, the biggest sales for a digital track this year, and becomes the 16th song to debut at number one in the chart’s 52-year history.

The Detroit star’s previous chart-toppers were last year’s ‘Crack A Bottle’ featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, and ‘Lose Yourself’ in 2002.

Other big openings of the week are 3OH!3 with “My First Kiss,” featuring Ke$ha. The title starts at No. 9 on the Hot 100 and No. 4 on Digital Songs. The Glee Cast places five more entries onto the list, led by “Total Eclipse of the Heart” at No. 16, the third version of that tune to reach the Hot 100.

Drake and Young Jeezy claim the remaining top 40 debuts, opening in back-to-back slots, with the former’s “Find Your Love” starting at No. 34 and the latter’s “Lose My Mind,” featuring Plies debuting at No. 35.
