Carly Rae Jepsen Makes 'Cinderella' Debut

Carly Rae Jepsen made her highly-anticipated Broadway debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella‘ on February 4th at The Broadway Theatre. For those of us who weren’t attending the premiere, photo agencies have already published the first photos of Carly as Cinderella.

She looks so happy to be on Broadway, doesn’t she?! So cute. We got the photos from the cast change curtain call and we have Jepsen, Joe Carroll who plays the Prince, and the lovely Fran Drescher who plays to evil stepmother.

I haven’t read the reviews so don’t know if the critics love the ‘Call Me Maybe‘ singer’s performance or not, but I have checked Carly’s Twitter and here’s what she had to say about her Broadway debut: “Last night felt magical. Thank you to the incredible team who made this possible!

While we wait for performance reviews, let’s talk Carly’s look here. We all know Cinderella has golden locks so I’m surprised to see Jepsen kept her red hair for the role. Other than that, she looks very much the part.

Here’s a photo of Fran. I love her and she looked fantastic.
