Alicia Keys and Beyonce headed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to shot the video of “Put it in a Love a Song”, which will appear in Keys’ latest album “Elements of Freedom.”
The song is a duet between the Grammy Award winning singers.
The ladies will be shooting at the Morro da Conceicao, now famous as the home of samba and the symbolic heart of African culture in Brazil. . Keys had already filmed part of her video on her own at the Dona Marta slum, which became renowned worldwide after Michael Jackson was there in 1996 to film a video “They Don’t Care About Us.”
Laurie Ann Gibson is choreographing the video. She is best known for her work on MTV’s Making the Band and P. Diddy’s Starmaker series.
Beyonce will be giving some concerts in the country as well. It’s the first Brazilian tour for her. Last Saturday she performed in Sao Paolo, and her next shows will be in Florianopolis and Rio de Janeiro.
