Zac Efron Would ‘100 Percent’ Do a ‘High School Musical’ Reunion Movie

Zac Efron just made thousands of fans very, very happy.

Despite having moved on to more serious, even raunchy roles, Efron revealed during a recent interview that he would “100 percent” do a ‘High School Musical‘ reunion movie.

We’re all thinking about it,” the actor told E! Online at SXSW in Austin.

The ‘Neighbors‘ star also revealed that he and the rest of the HSM cast have remained close friends  and hinted that they’d also be up for a reunion movie if chance comes.

I continue to see all the guys from High School. Every time we do…there’s just this look between us. It’s so cool because we never forget a single moment of that experience.” He added “It brings you right back to those days.”

High School Musical‘ was released in 2006 and quickly became the most successful film that Disney Channel Original Movie ever produced. The movie success spawned a television sequel High School Musical 2 released in 2007 and the feature film High School Musical 3: Senior Year out in October 2008.

Along with Efron, the movie’s main stars were Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman.
