Usher has reach to the No1 one position again with “OMG”. This count to nine of No. 1 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 .
The track, which features vocals by will.i.am, lifts from No. 6 to No. 1 in its fifth week on the chart.
Since Usher first led the Hot 100 during Valentine’s Day week 1998 with “Nice & Slow,” no other artist has outpaced his production of No. 1s. Mariah Carey and Rihanna have the second-most chart-toppers in that span with six each.
On the Billboard 200, Usher’s sixth studio set “Raymond vs. Raymond” dips 5-6 with. The album became his third consecutive No. 1 debut when it entered the list four weeks ago.
This is Usher’s first No. 1 song in two years: His last, “Love in This Club” featuring Young Jeezy from his 2008 set Here I Stand, held the spot for three weeks.
In other news, Usher has been blasted as “disrespectful” by his former producer, Jermaine Dupri. Jermaine – who was behind the ‘OMG’ singer’s 2004 album ‘Confessions’- said he will have no more to do with usher because he felt he snubbed him when it came to making his latest album ‘Raymond Vs Raymond’.
