The reason? Host Peter Rosenberg dissed Nicki’s music:
“I know there’s some chicks here waiting to sing ‘Starships’ later, I’m not talking to y’all right now. F*ck that bullsh*t. I’m here to talk about real hip-hop sh*t”, he told the crow.
Lil Wayne, the head of Young Money, Minaj’s label, heard that and was not pleased.
The “Mirror” hitmaker immediately pulled the plug on Nicky’s concert.
“Young Money ain’t doing Summer Jam”, he tweeted.
“Wow. U ni**az just f*cked up history. But the President has spoken.”
“I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against wayne’s word. What he says, goes.”
