Kesha premiered “Your Love Is My Drug” video

The new clip is directed by Honey, a directing husband and wife team Nick Brooks and Laura Kelly, who previously helmed Paramore’s “Ignorance” and KT Tunstall’s “Suddenly I See”.

According her own description the video is set in a desert, features plenty of animals, at least one bearded dude, an extended, body-paint enhanced dance sequence in a cave, and animation inspired by the Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” film.

Ke$ha shot the music video near Joshua Tree in the California desert, on April 8. The clip, which is featured in live action and animation, shows the “TiK ToK” hitmaker riding an elephant and dancing with a phython as she has her entire body covered in glow-in-the-dark glitter.

Her “Your Love Is My Drug” music video premiere aside, Ke$ha is set to perform at a benefit concert to help Nashville’s flood and storm victims. The show itself will be held on June 16 at Limelight in Nashville, which is located at 201 Woodland Street.

“I’m thrilled to announce that I will be playing a show to help benefit Nashville, my hometown. 100% of the profits from ticket sales will go to help the victims of these devastating floods,” Ke$ha said on her upcoming project.
