Green Day rocked out London’s Wembley Stadium

American rock band Green Day headed to London UK and made British people forget about the World Cup for a while.

The rockers had in mind to set the standard bar pretty high. Front man Billy Joe Amrstrong was clear about that as he said to the devoted crowd: “This is the biggest fucking show we have ever had in our lives. This is going to be the best rock ‘n’ roll show Wembley has ever seen.”

The guys didn’t disappoint. They put together an almost three-hour show where they played pretty much all their repertoire from twenty years ago.

On the first part of the show, they band event performed some amazing covers:  Black Sabbath’s ‘Iron Man’, Guns N’ Roses’ hit ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ and AC/DC’s ‘Highway To Hell’.

The band members were excited about how the show was going and when it was about to end, Armstrong told the crowd: “I tell you one thing, I’m going to remember this for the rest of my fucking life.”
Last night Wembley’s stadium witnessed one of the best rock and roll shows ever.
