The fallout from the Epstein Scandal is getting out of hand. Newly unsealed documents have revealed that a woman who said she was sexually abused by the late Jeffrey Epstein claimed to have tapes of former US president Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson.
The documents, which were reported by the New Yorker, show a series of emails that Sarah Ransome, a British-South African woman, sent to a columnist in 2016. Ransome met Epstein in 2006 when she was 22 and said she was coerced by him and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell into giving them massages and having sex with them and their influential friends.

Ransome alleged that her friend, who was also a victim of Epstein, had sex with Clinton, Andrew and Branson, and that Epstein recorded the acts. She said she had copies of the tapes and threatened to leak them to WikiLeaks.
She also said that former US president Donald Trump had sex with one of her friends at Epstein’s New York mansion regularly.
However, Ransome later confessed that she made up the tapes to frighten Epstein and protect herself from his harm. She said she had no evidence of his crimes and was sorry for contacting the columnist. She said she wanted to “walk away from this” and was scared of the repercussions of going public.
Epstein, who faced charges of trafficking and abusing dozens of girls and women. He killed himself in 2019 while awaiting trial in this Epstein scandal. Maxwell, his former partner and alleged accomplice, was found guilty of sex abuse charges in 2021. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Several documents related to their case have been made public recently, revealing their connections to powerful figures.
