On the music biggest night, recently gone Michael Jackson had a very special place on everybody’s heart. Even though the artist is no longer among us physically, his soul and legend will live forever.
Last Sunday, at the 52th Grammy Awards Ceremony, the Music industry wanted to pay its latest tribute to one of the greatest artist of all time, as he was given the Grammy Award for lifetime achievement award. His children Prince Michael and Paris took the stage to accept the award. Prince said some emotional words:
“We are proud to be here to accept this award on behalf of our father, Michael Jackson. First of all, we would like to thank God for watching over us for these past seven months, and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support. We would also like to thank the fans – our father loved you so much because you were always there for him.
Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity. Through all his hard work and dedication he has helped many charities and donated to all of them. Through all his songs, his message was simple – love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world. Thank you.”
Also, Celine Dion, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Smokey Robinson performed An Earth Song to pay tribute to Jackson’s career and legate.
