Black Eyed Peas, Robin Williams and Rihanna rock Cannes

Saturday 23th, Cannes celebrated the NRJ Music Awards, a ceremony put together by the French radio station to honor the most talented and acclaimed artists. The event was very successful as many international artists came and perform for a very devoted French audience.

The winners of the night were Black Eye Pies and Robin Williams. Fergie and the guys received two awards:  “Best International Song 2010” for “I got a feeling” and “Best International Band 2010”.

Robin Williams also pocketed two awards: “Best International Artist 2010” and “NRJ Music Career”. The British rocker conquered the audience by performing “Morning Sun” during the ceremony.

Many other international artist were acknowledged during the Awards Show: Rihanna, looking stunning on a white and silver dress, scored an award as “Best International Female Artist 2010” and Beyonce obtained her “NRJ of Honor” as she sold more than 100 million albums around the world.

Lady Gaga couldn’t make it to the ceremony. She got an award as “Best International Revelation Artist 2010”. David Guetta –very popular French DJ- received the award on her behalf.

Many other artists headed to the French Riviera to enjoy the Show, such as Dita Von Teese, David Bubble, fashion designer Jean Paul Gautier or Kelly Rowland
