The exciting announcement came during the premiere of his new movie, “Deadpool & Wolverine,” at the David H. Koch Theater in New York City on Monday.
Olin Makes His Debut
Ryan Reynolds, 47, shared his youngest child’s unique Nordic name while addressing the crowd before the highly anticipated screening. The couple, married since September 2012, had previously confirmed the arrival of their fourth child in February 2023.
Blake Lively, 36, subtly hinted at the baby’s arrival with a social media post in February. A series of photos showcasing the family’s Super Bowl party featured the “Gossip Girl” alum sporting a baby bump. The lighthearted caption, “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023 been busy,” fueled speculation among fans.
More Children on the Horizon for Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively?
The Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively seems open to further expanding their family. In an interview with E! News on Monday, Reynolds expressed his desire for “as many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more.”
However, they might not be calling on their friend Taylor Swift for babysitting duties anytime soon. Reynolds jokingly told the outlet that Swift’s rates are astronomical, though he admitted it was likely a playful exaggeration.
Despite the potential challenges of a large family, Ryan Reynolds has described the transition to six as surprisingly smooth.
“You know, two to three [kids] was a huge jump,” he told in April 2023. “Three to four less so. I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it,” he added.
With the baby’s name revealed and family plans in the air, all eyes are now on the upcoming release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” hitting theaters on July 26.
