Kanye West titanium dentures: Rapper and producer Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has unveiled his latest fashion statement: titanium dentures that look like the metal teeth of Jaws, the iconic villain from two James Bond movies.
The 46-year-old artist shared his new smile on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, where he posed with his mouth open, revealing the shiny prosthodontics. He also posted a photo of Jaws, the character from ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ and ‘Moonraker’, who had a similar dental feature.

According to a source close to Ye, the rapper underwent a procedure for titanium dentures: that cost $850,000 and involved a team of dentists and cosmetic surgeons. The source said that the technical term for the dentures is fixed prosthodontics, and that they are permanent and go beyond the usual veneers or grills.
“His teeth weren’t removed,” the source clarified. “He still has a full dentition. Healthy and happy.”
The source also praised Ye’s vision and creativity, saying that he designed the prosthodontics himself and that they reflect his unique artistry. “Ye was a pleasure to work with every step of the process. His vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression,” Mr Connelly, one of the dentists involved in the procedure, said.
However, not everyone was impressed by Kanye West’s new titanium dentures . The rapper’s decision sparked a lot of reactions on social media, with some users expressing disbelief and ridicule. “No way Kanye west went through with that. Look like he wrapped his teeth with gum wrapper,” one user commented on X. “This can’t be real,” said another.
Ye, who recently changed his name legally, is also preparing to release a new collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign titled ‘Vultures’.
