Jennifer Lopez Dodges Questions About Ben Affleck Relationship

Jennifer Lopez has chosen to remain silent regarding her relationship status with Ben Affleck amid swirling divorce rumors. The singer,  shut down a reporter during a panel in Mexico City for her upcoming film “Atlas” on Wednesday.

When asked to address the rumors, Lopez responded, “You know better than that,” with a brief smile, as seen in a video posted by El Gordo y la Flaca’s Instagram account. Lopez has been on a press tour for her forthcoming Netflix movie, sparking speculation about her relationship with Affleck.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez attended the film’s premiere in Mexico solo, while Affleck was photographed leaving a hotspot in Santa Monica, Calif., later that night.

Speculation about the couple’s breakup intensified after a source told  that Affleck, 51, has “come to his senses” and realizes his marriage to Lopez, 54, is over. The insider stated, “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would.” Affleck reportedly feels that the last two years were a “fever dream” and now understands that their relationship cannot work.

Breakup rumors began circulating last week when photos showed Affleck leaving a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, where he has reportedly been staying separately from Lopez. Despite this, the couple was photographed together for the first time in over a month after attending a play featuring Affleck’s 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina, on Friday.

The speculation continued as reports emerge of Affleck has been searching for a new home in Los Angeles and was spotted without his wedding band on Saturday. However, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez appeared together on Sunday, attending a movie event at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, Calif., putting on a united front.

The couple, who were previously engaged before calling it off, tied the knot in July 2022.
