The highly anticipated film “F1” starring Brad Pitt has released its first teaser trailer, offering a glimpse into the world of cutthroat competition and raw emotion on the Formula One racing circuit.
The trailer, released on Sunday, showcases Pitt firmly in the driver’s seat, both literally and figuratively. His character, fueled by a relentless pursuit of victory, pushes the boundaries of safety in his quest to dominate the competition.
“Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, Ashton, now McLaren all have a speed on this race,” Pitt’s character declares to Kerry Condon’s in a tense exchange. “Our shot is battling in the turns, we need to build our car for combat.”
Brad Pitt Pushes the Limits
Condon’s character seems apprehensive, questioning, “How am I supposed to make that safe?”. Pitt’s response is resolute: “Who said anything about safe?”
The trailer is a fast-paced montage set against the iconic sounds of Queen’s “We Will Rock You.” It features breathtaking footage of Formula One cars hurtling around the track, interspersed with glimpses of the A-list cast in action.
This exciting reveal follows a recent announcement by Apple Studios. On Friday, they confirmed the film’s title as “F1” and its U.S. release date of June 27, 2025. The project reunites the dream team behind “Top Gun: Maverick” – director Joseph Kosinski, writer Ehren Kruger, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Pitt’s dedication to the role has been evident. For the second year running, the 60-year-old actor was spotted at the British Grand Prix, this time sporting a sharp white racing suit and black vest. Photos captured him smiling and waving to fans, even entering a door marked “Cast Green Room,” hinting at a potential on-site filming connection.
Last year, Pitt and co-star Damson Idris were filmed at the British Grand Prix, solidifying the film’s commitment to authenticity. “F1” is being produced in collaboration with Formula One itself, with scenes shot during actual Grand Prix weekends. It a realistic portrayal of the high-pressure environment these drivers face.
