Socialite Nicky Hilton has finally disclosed her son’s name, nearly two years after his birth. In an interview with Us Weekly on Friday, Hilton revealed that her toddler’s name is Chasen, noting that she and her husband, James Rothschild, had always liked the name for its uniqueness.
“We always liked the name, and it was unusual,” Nicky Hilton, 40, shared, though she did not specify why she had kept her son’s name a secret for so long. She also mentioned that Chasen is currently in the early stages of speech development, saying, “He’s trying to talk. He’s saying lots of words but no full sentences yet.”
Nicky Hilton’s Joy in Motherhood
Nicky Hilton, who is also a mother to daughters Lily-Grace Victoria, 6, and Theodora “Teddy” Marilyn, 5, expressed pride in her older children’s relationship with Chasen, noting that they adore their younger brother. “They love him. Zero jealousy. They just dote over him,” she explained. “I’m very lucky that all of my children get along extremely well.”
Describing her children’s personalities, Nicky Hilton shared that her son Chasen is “very, very serious” and takes after his father, while Lily-Grace is more like her. Teddy, on the other hand, is “a little more quiet and reserved” and “definitely more girly and feminine.”
Nicky Hilton and Rothschild, who married in 2015, have been expanding their family over the years. In June 2022, Hilton shared the first photo of her three children together, captioning the picture, “2 months 🎂,” as she held Chasen while Lily-Grace and Teddy tried to kiss him.
Meanwhile, Nicky Hilton’s older sister, Paris Hilton, recently began her own journey into motherhood. Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed a son named Phoenix via surrogate in January 2023, followed by the birth of their daughter, London, also via surrogate, earlier this year.
