Fans of Ariana Grande have a reason to rejoice as the pop star has announced that she will be releasing her new album in 2024. The singer took to Instagram to share the news with her 380 million followers, along with some behind-the-scenes photos and videos from her studio sessions.
Ariana Grande, who has won two Grammy awards and sold over 150 million records worldwide, wrote “See you next year” on a piece of paper with red lipstick, hinting at the release date of her upcoming album. She also posted a video where she said, “I’m so tired but so happy and grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons.” The video was captioned, “It’s almost the last day of this album.”
The album will be Grande’s seventh studio album and her first since Positions, which came out in 2020. Her previous albums include Yours Truly (2013), My Everything (2014), Dangerous Woman (2016), Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019). All of her albums have been certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In addition to working on her new music, Ariana Grande will also be making her big-screen debut in 2024, starring in the film adaptation of the hit musical Wicked. She will play the role of Glinda, the good witch, opposite Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the wicked witch.
