During Wednesday’s preview of “Suffs,” Clinton and Miranda also hosted a fundraiser for President Biden’s campaign. The former First Lady and her husband, Bill Clinton, were greeted with excitement from the audience, with onlookers describing the atmosphere as electric when Bill entered the venue.

“Suffs” features music by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub, who also stars as activist Alice Paul. Miranda praised Taub as “the future of musical theater,” highlighting the innovative nature of the production.

Even former President Bill Clinton was impressed by the performance, particularly praising cast member Grace McLean’s portrayal of President Woodrow Wilson. He jokingly expressed his admiration for McLean’s performance over the actual President Wilson, adding to the lighthearted and celebratory atmosphere of the evening.
