This decision ultimately led to the discovery of luminal B cancer in both of her breasts, a fast-moving and aggressive form of the disease.
In her statement, Olivia Munn expressed gratitude for her doctor’s proactive approach, stating, “The fact that she did saved my life.” She underwent a double mastectomy just 30 days after her diagnosis and has since undergone a total of four surgeries over the course of 10 months.
Munn emphasized the importance of early detection, noting that she was “lucky” to have caught the cancer in time to have treatment options.
