Former first lady Melania Trump is reportedly planning to increase her diplomatic appearances in 2024, as her husband Donald Trump prepares for another presidential run.
According to a source close to the Trump family, the couple is confident that Donald Trump will win back the White House after his recent Supreme Court victory in his federal election subversion case.
The source said that Melania Trump, who recently attended the funeral of former first lady Rosalynn Carter along with other ex-first ladies, is feeling more confident and ready to take on a more prominent role in the 2024 campaign.
“Melania realizes it’s her time to join the ranks of historic first ladies and leave her mark on history… She feels better prepared for her potential role the second time around,” the source said.
The source added that Melania Trump, who also participated in a citizens’ naturalization ceremony at the National Archives, has the full support of her husband and their son Barron, who is now 17 years old.

The former first lady, who has been largely out of the public eye since leaving the White House, also made an appearance with Donald Trump at a Patriot Awards ceremony at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, where they were both in good spirits.
The source said that Donald Trump gave a speech at the Helping A Hero event, which raised money for military veterans, and joked about his classified documents case, saying that they don’t usually rent out the space because “We have a lot of very important documents here, as you all know.” The audience reportedly laughed at his remark.
As Melania Trump prepares to step up her diplomatic role in the 2024 campaign, one might wonder what impact she will have on the political landscape and the public perception of her husband. Will she be able to sway the voters with her charm and elegance, or will she face criticism and scrutiny for her controversial past and present? As former President Barack Obama once said, “The role of the first lady is whatever the first lady wants it to be.
