It’s over for Neymar and Bruna Biancardi. The model announced on her Instagram Story that she and the soccer star have ended their relationship, less than two months after they became parents to their daughter Mavie.
“This is a private matter,” Bruna wrote in Portuguese, “but as I am exposed to news, assumptions and jokes on a daily basis, I inform you that I am not in a relationship.” She added, “We are Mavie’s parents, and this is the reason for our bond. I hope that this way I will stop being associated in the frequent news. Thanks.”
The couple, who went public with their romance in April 2022, welcomed their baby girl in October 2023. Neymar, who also has a 12-year-old son Davi Lucca with his ex Carolina Dantas, shared the happy news on his Instagram, posting a photo of him holding Mavie’s hand. “My princess has arrived,” he captioned the post, “I love you more than anything in this world.”
Their relationship was not without drama. In June 2023, Neymar addressed the rumors that he had cheated on Bruna, and admitted that he had made a mistake. He posted a photo of him and Bruna on his Instagram, and wrote in Portuguese, “I do this for both of you and your family. Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in OUR lives. I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you.”

He also said that he had hurt “one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of following beside me, mother of my child.” He promised to “try” hard to make their relationship work.
However, it seems that their efforts were not enough to save their love. Neymar, who recently moved to Saudi Arabia after signing a multi-year contract with Al-Hilal in August, has not yet commented on their breakup.
Bruna, on the other hand, has been focusing on her daughter and her family, especially after they were the victims of an armed robbery at their home in November. Bruna reassured her fans that she, Mavie, and her family were safe and sound, and thanked God for taking care of them.
