It’s been eight months since Michael Jackson passed away, and during this hard time, the family members have been trying to catch up with their lives and take on some individual projects.
So has been doing Janet Jackson. She made quite an appearance yesterday night at the premier of her new movie “Why Did I Get Married Too” at New York’s School of Visual Arts Theater.
Janet looked radiant and confident. Her sister Rebbie tagged along and both ladies showed great rapport during the entire evening.
The “Feedback” hitmaker found out about his brother’s loss while shooting the movie and she felt very grateful about the support that the director Tyler Perry and the rest of the team gave her throughout those extremely difficult moments, as she revealed to People Magazine: “The cast and crew were very supportive, especially Tyler. One of the first calls that I got was from Tyler. He was just so there for me in every way, so loving and so giving.”
Perry talked to the publication about how the movie helped Janet to cope with the pain:”I think that a lot of times, people are not able to release. They don’t have a way to let go. And that’s the great thing about having a film like this, where she got to do all of these crazy things. And I think all of her emotion is in the film, I really do.”
Janet not only starred in the movie, but also she performed one of the songs of the soundtrack called “Nothing” which was produced by her ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox.
