Russell Brand Arrested After iPhone Throwing Incident
Brand turned himself in yesterday (March 15, 2012) and hours after being in police custody, has now been released.
Just three days ago, the funny man was accused by a paparazzo that he’d snatched his iPhone and threw it through the window of a nearby building.
Following the incident, the funny man tweeted:
“Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”
Despite having agreed to pay for the broken window and the man got his phone back, a warrant was still issued on Brand’s name.
Next time, he’ll probably think twice before paying any “tributes”.
Think Brand deserved to be arrested?
