Jessica Simpson On Post-Baby Weight Loss: ‘My Body Is Not Bouncing Back Like A Supermodel’
“I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it”, Jess said.
“I didn’t realize [the weight] didn’t all come off with the baby”, she added.
Simpson, who gave birth to her first child, a girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson, in May via C-section, has officially joined Weight Watchers at the end of the same month and started working out to get back in shape.
However, it’s not been easy. “My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel”, Simpson revealed. “I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiance and herself”.
The “Come On Over” singer works out four to five times a week, but that doesn’t include jogging because “My boobs are way too big to run at this point”.
